In addition to the several floats in the parades,
there were also other entries. The welcome to the fair was given by the mayor,
R.E. Harris, and by the fair president, Ron Newman. The main announcer for
all the parades was William Smart. Additional announcers helped out each
evening.
The additional entries were bands from different schools in the area,
political entries, emergency vehicles and Mrs. Lori Stearman, 100+ years old
in the Senior Center automoble.
