10th Annual Sängerfest - July 21, 2001

These pictures were taken during the tenth annual festival of German song.  The German culture perhaps better than most, has through song, expressed most beautifully the German's deep and fervent love of God and homeland.  From plaintive folk songs written by long-forgotten authors to acknowledged masterpieces by Beethoven, Mozart, and many others, German choral music unashamedly lays bare the German's soul, and in so doing touches our spirit and makes it soar.  Our guests who came to listen and enjoy are the ones who give our singers the inspiration to offer their songs with heartfelt joy.

Following are the pictures of some of the groups and some of the guests for this festival.  I am sorry, but I did not get any pictures of the Cole Camp Kinderchor or of the Taron Luetjen performing his solo.
