The festivities had as the master of ceremonies, one of our local German enthusists, Bob Owens, keeping the festival moving and interesting. The initial welcome was given by the Plattdüscher President, Mildred Heimsoth. Mildred is okay, she had a small accident the day prior to the concert which kept her off of her feet, thus the wheel chair.
A special treat was the music provided by Annemarie Timmons and Willie Kirst. They have been part of past Sängerfest concerts and are always a very welcome part of the program.
