In-Between Acts and Other Pictures
The entertainment between the acts consisted of story telling (in german) and American Folk Songs sung in Low German. The story tellers were Mildred Heimsoth, Reinhart Brandt and Roy Ehlers. The singers of the folk songs were a couple of favorites, Neil Heimsoth on the spoons, and Eugene Beckman with the guitar.
This year also included a Special group from Germany, Ute Biemüller Und Fief Op Platt.
At the Sunday performance, Professor William D. Keel, of the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures, The University of Kansas, also attended with several of the department's students. A presentation was made during the intermission to this group from the German Club for their use at the university. The last pictures here are of the entire cast, the stage workers, the producer and director of this year's production.
